Planting Instructions:

      • Location:Plant azaleas in a location with partial shade to filtered sunlight. Morning sun with afternoon shade is ideal, especially in warmer climates like Mississippi.
      • Planting:Dig a hole that’s as deep and twice as wide as the root ball. Place the azalea in the hole, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the surrounding soil.
      • Spacing:Space azaleas according to their mature size, typically about 3 to 6 feet apart.
      • Care:Water newly planted azaleas regularly until established. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Apply a layer of mulch around the plants to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Prune lightly after flowering to shape the plant and remove dead or weak branches.
