Planting Instructions:

      • Location:Plant camellias in a location with partial shade to filtered sunlight. They prefer well-drained, acidic soil with good organic content.
      • Planting:Dig a hole that’s slightly wider but no deeper than the root ball. Place the camellia in the hole, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the surrounding soil.
      • Spacing:Space camellias according to their mature size, typically about 4 to 8 feet apart.
      • Care:Water newly planted camellias regularly to keep the soil evenly moist. Mulch around the plants to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape and remove dead or damaged branches. Fertilize with an acidic fertilizer formulated for camellias in spring after flowering.
