Planting Instructions:

      • Location:Plant irises in a location with full sun to partial shade. They prefer well-drained soil with good organic content.
      • Planting:Dig a shallow hole that’s large enough to accommodate the iris rhizome. Spread out the roots and place the rhizome just below the soil surface, leaving the top exposed.
      • Spacing:Space irises about 12 to 24 inches apart.
      • Care:Water newly planted irises regularly until established. Keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Apply a layer of mulch around the plants to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Divide overcrowded clumps every few years in late summer or early fall to rejuvenate the plants and promote better flowering.
