Planting Instructions:

      • Location:Plant Oregon Grape in a location with partial shade to full shade. It prefers well-drained soil but can tolerate a variety of soil types, including clay and sandy soil.
      • Planting:Dig a hole that’s slightly wider but no deeper than the root ball. Place the Oregon Grape in the hole, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the surrounding soil.
      • Spacing:Space Oregon Grape shrubs about 3 to 6 feet apart, depending on the variety and desired size.
      • Care:Water newly planted Oregon Grape regularly until established. Once established, it is drought-tolerant and requires minimal care. Mulch around the plants to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Prune as needed to maintain shape and remove dead or damaged branches.
