Planting Instructions:

-
- Location:Choose a sunny to partially shaded location with fertile, well-drained soil. Peonies prefer slightly alkaline soil.
- Planting:Dig a hole that’s wide and deep enough to accommodate the peony’s root system. Place the peony in the hole with the eyes (buds) facing upwards, and backfill with soil.
- Spacing:Space peonies about 3 to 4 feet apart to allow for their mature size.
- Care:Water newly planted peonies regularly until established. Once established, they are relatively low-maintenance. Provide support for taller varieties to prevent flopping, and divide overcrowded clumps every few years in the fall.
