Planting Instructions:

      • Location:Choose a site with partial shade, such as beneath tall trees, and well-drained, acidic soil with plenty of organic matter.
      • Planting:Dig a hole as deep as the root ball and twice as wide. Place the rhododendron in the hole, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the ground surface. Backfill with soil and water thoroughly.
      • Spacing:Space rhododendrons according to their mature size, typically about 4 to 8 feet apart.
      • Care:Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, especially during dry periods. Apply a thick layer of mulch around the base of the plant to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Prune selectively after flowering to shape the plant and remove dead or damaged branches.
