Planting Instructions:

      • Location:Plant Russian Sage in a location with full sun and well-drained soil. It thrives in dry, rocky, or sandy soil types.
      • Planting:Dig a hole that’s slightly wider but no deeper than the root ball. Place the Russian Sage in the hole, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the surrounding soil. Backfill with soil and water thoroughly.
      • Spacing:Space Russian Sage plants about 2 to 3 feet apart to allow for their mature size.
      • Care:Water newly planted Russian Sage regularly until established. Once established, they are extremely drought-tolerant and require minimal care. Prune back in late winter or early spring to remove dead or weak growth and promote new growth. Avoid heavy pruning, as Russian Sage blooms on new growth.
