Planting Instructions:

      • Location:Plant Sunflowers in a location with full sun and well-drained soil. They prefer rich, fertile soil but can tolerate a variety of soil types.
      • Planting:Sow Sunflower seeds directly into the garden in late spring after the last frost date. Plant seeds about 1 inch deep and 6 inches apart.
      • Spacing:Space Sunflower plants about 12 to 24 inches apart, depending on the variety and desired size.
      • Care:Water newly planted Sunflowers regularly until established. Once established, they are relatively low-maintenance and drought-tolerant. Provide support for taller varieties to prevent them from flopping over. Deadhead spent flowers to promote continuous blooming and prevent self-seeding if desired.
