Planting Instructions:

      • Location:Plant tulips in a location with full sun to partial shade. They prefer well-drained soil that is not too wet.
      • Planting:Plant tulip bulbs in the fall, ideally six to eight weeks before the ground freezes. Dig a hole two to three times deeper than the bulb’s height and place the bulb pointed end up. Space bulbs about 4 to 6 inches apart.
      • Care:Water newly planted bulbs after planting to settle the soil, but avoid overwatering. Tulips do not typically need watering during winter dormancy. Once they begin to emerge in spring, water regularly to keep the soil moist. After flowering, allow the foliage to die back naturally to replenish the bulb for next year’s growth.
