Planting Instructions:

      • Location: Partial shade to full sun, depending on the variety. Morning sun and afternoon shade are ideal.
      • Soil: Well-drained, acidic soil rich in organic matter. Azaleas prefer soil with a pH between 4.5 and 6.0.
      • Planting: Plant in fall or early spring. Dig a hole twice as wide and as deep as the root ball. Place the plant, backfill with soil, and water well.
      • Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during the first year. Mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
      • Maintenance:Prune lightly after flowering to shape and remove dead or weak branches. Fertilize in spring with an acidic fertilizer.
