Planting Instructions:

      • Location:Plant irises in a location with full sunlight to partial shade. They prefer well-drained soil with good organic content.
      • Planting:Dig a shallow hole that’s wide enough to accommodate the rhizome (root structure) without bending it. Place the rhizome horizontally in the hole, with the top exposed above the soil surface.
      • Spacing:Space irises according to their mature size, typically about 12 to 24 inches apart.
      • Care:Water newly planted irises regularly to keep the soil evenly moist. Mulch around the plants to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Divide overcrowded clumps every few years in late summer to early fall. Fertilize with a balanced fertilizer in spring before flowering.
