Planting Instructions:

      • Location:Plant Lupines in a location with full sun to partial shade. They prefer well-drained soil with good organic content.
      • Planting:Sow Lupine seeds directly into the garden in early spring or late fall. Press the seeds lightly into the soil surface and keep them consistently moist until germination occurs.
      • Spacing:Space Lupine plants about 12 to 18 inches apart.
      • Care:Water newly planted Lupines regularly until established. Once established, they are relatively low-maintenance and drought-tolerant. Deadhead spent flowers to prolong flowering and prevent self-seeding if desired. Cut back the flower spikes after blooming to promote a second flush of flowers.
