Planting Instructions:

  • Soak sweet corn seeds in water for about 8-12 hours to encourage germination.
  • Fill a shallow tray with potting soil or a soilless growing medium to a depth of about 1-2 inches.
  • Scatter the soaked corn seeds evenly over the soil surface, aiming for about 10-20 seeds per square inch.
  • Gently press the seeds into the soil using a flat surface to ensure good seed-to-soil contact.
  • Mist the soil surface with water to moisten the seeds and soil.
  • Cover the tray with a clear lid or plastic wrap to create a greenhouse effect, keeping the humidity high.
  • Place the tray in a warm, well-lit location, such as near a sunny window or under grow lights.
  • Keep the soil consistently moist by misting with water as needed.
  • Sweet corn microgreens will typically germinate within 3-7 days and can be harvested when they are 2-3 inches tall, usually after 7-14 days.
